Dino, in light of the economic downturn are there any servolution ideas right now that really are making an impact that the local church should be focusing on?
Rob - thanks for being a part of this tour. Your friendship for the last 25 years has been such a source of strength and much of the story in Servolution would look a lot different if it weren’t for your friendship back in those early days.
I think the answer to your question is that an economic challenge isn’t a time for us to hoard and take a break from helping others so we can take care of our stuff. Instead, we need to remember that God is our source, and that it is possible that these times will present the Church with some of the greatest opportunities to serve that we’ve seen. People will come across our paths who are in the midst of the worst days of their lives - they’ve lost their job for the first time in their lives, they’ve lost their home, they’re worried and looking for answers.
Our natural human reaction in these times is to protect our own needs, but now is so much the time for us to open our doors even wider.
