During our series Bail(me)out I'm taking the time to list the 33 Laws of Stewardship by Dave Sutherland and Kirk Nowery. I think these are a great supplement to our series and will help us to understand how we are to handle our money and possessions.
Law #4 - The Law of Guaranteed Return - As you give it will be given to you. Jesus said, "Give and it will be given unto you, a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38
In many ways, this is an eternal investment portfolio, with a guaranteed great return! (And right now, that's a huge thing!) Don't allow worry to control your thoughts, but the faith of God should rule you. Keep being faithful in your giving but give to be a blessing, and you will be blessed in return.
