DOVE BAR SAVES LIFE
This falls under the "You can't make this up" category of life! It's true, a Dove bar from our Mother's Day gifts helped to save a life, let me explain.
Deb Weltzen came to our 6:30 service this weekend and received a Dove chocolate bar as a gift. (we gave all the mothers a chocolate bar as a gift this year to celebrate Mothers Day) On the way home she saw a car stopped in the middle of the intersection of Pilot Knob and 170th Street and cars were zooming by and no one was stopping to help. She told her husband to pull over and help them push the car out of the intersection but that wasn't what was needed. The driver was having a diabetic reaction and was shaking in the front seat. His distraught wife asked for a soda, sugar anything to help him, an ambulance was on the way, they needed help! That's when Deb remembered that she had the Dove bar! She gave it to the wife and the wife fed it to her husband and as he ate it, he started to come around by the time the ambulance got there!
This is so awesome! We've never given away chocolate for Mothers Day, but there was a reason we did it this year! Thank you so much to the Weltzin's for stopping and offering help to a stranded motorist. Thanks to the leaders that got the chocolate bars this year and thanks to Deb for being quick on your feet! We owe you some chocolate!
W-O-W!!...there is nothing else that can be said about it.
That's one for the books.

WOW! This was amazing!
I read this blog, and then I was at Garage Sale: Follow The Signs this weekend, and it was even more incredible to be there and here you share the story with all of us.
That was really nice of RVC to give Deb some extra Dove bars. She truly is one of many angels watching over people!
